Future research is warranted to assess the role of label use on improved dietary decisions. Nutrition awareness campaigns and education programmes may be important mechanisms for promoting nutrition label use among college students and young adults. Conclusions: The impact of nutrition labelling on food purchase and intake could differ by population subgroups. Nutrition label use was found to be associated with attitudes towards healthy diet, beliefs on the importance of nutrition labels in guiding food selection, self-efficacy, and nutrition knowledge and education. Females were more likely to use nutrition labels than males. Reported prevalence of nutrition label use varied substantially across studies a weighted average calculation showed 36♵ % of college students and young adults reported using labels always or often. Results: Sixteen studies based on data from college surveys in four countries (USA, UK, Canada, South Korea) were identified from keyword and reference search. Subjects: College students and young adults. Inclusion criteria included: study design (randomized controlled trial, cohort study, pre-post study or cross-sectional study) population (college students and young adults 18-30 years old) main outcome (nutrition label use) article type (peer-reviewed publication) and language (English). Design: Keyword and reference searches were conducted in PubMed, EBSCO, PsycInfo, Cochrane Library and Web of Science. The present study systematically reviewed existing evidence on the correlates of nutrition label use among college students and young adults. Objective: Nutrition labels are an essential source for consumers to obtain nutrition-related information on food products and serve as a population-level intervention with unparalleled reach.

In 1794 the tide turned, enabling France to go on the offensive and to carry the war to its neighbors rather than desperately fight to save itself. From 1792 to 1794, the French armies struggled to save the Republic from its foreign and internal enemies. How did a young Corsican from a minor noble family, whose native language was not even French, become supreme ruler of one of the most important powers in Europe? The answer has to be sought in the impact of an expanding war on revolutionary politics. The evidence is presented here under three main headings: Domestic Policies Foreign Policies and Wars and His Legacy. Was he a true son of the Enlightenment who modernized French government and brought the message of equality under the law wherever he went? Or was he an authoritarian military dictator who fought incessant wars and conquered territory in order to maintain his egomaniacal grip on power? There is abundant evidence for both views. Since his first days in power he aroused controversies that continue today. Napoleon created a new form of government in France, reshaped the boundaries of Europe, and influenced revolutionaries and nationalists the world over. The eagle (his preferred symbol) had taken its last flight. When he lost his final battle at Waterloo in Belgium in 1815, the victors sent him to the faraway island of Saint Helena, where he died in 1821. Forced into exile on the island of Elba, Napoleon escaped to fight one last time. Within two years the powers allied against him had captured Paris. In 1812 he invaded Russia, where he won most of the battles but lost an army in the process. His fall from the pinnacle of power was almost as startling as his rise. As these urgent demands tug us this way and that, it becomes increasingly difficult to find a centered space for creativity. It is a new world, empowered and entranced by the rapid-fire introduction of new technologies-a world where our metaphysical front door is always open, where anyone can whisper in our ear, where a “room of one’s own” no longer means you’re all alone.Ĭreative minds are exceedingly sensitive to the buzz and whir of the world around them, and we now have to contend with a constant stream of chirps, pings, and alerts at all hours of the day. The world we work in today is not the world of Michelangelo, of Marie Curie, of Ernest Hemingway, or even of Paul Rand. Instead, you need the ability to decrypt data locally on your devices. The rest of the time, whether the data is in transit across the web or sitting on Keybase's servers, no one-including Keybase-can read it. Keybase is end-to-end encrypted, meaning that data is only ever understandable at either end of an interaction, like the two smartphones in a messaging thread. "The two-factor authentication people usually talk about just doesn't make sense with the model of how Keybase works," says Krohn. And if you look closely, you'll notice that many similarly sensitive products, like password managers or secure messaging apps like Signal, often don't offer conventional two-factor either. Keybase says, though, that conventional two-factor wouldn't protect Keybase accounts in the way you might think. The company, called Keybase, is open source and audited by (paid) third parties, but users and two-factor authentication advocates often ding the company for not offering 2FA. But when Chris Coyne and Max Krohn, who previously cofounded OKCupid, launched their own digital identity and encrypted chat platform in 2014, they decided against using 2FA at all. And for good reason! It's a solid protection against common web attacks like phishing and credential stuffing. WIRED certainly pushes the feature every chance we get. When you think of online security, hopefully by now two-factor authentication springs to mind. After trying “select low res” option – no go, the “select Sent folder on start up” – no go, “Work offline” – no go. Then reread the thread and spotted KMC’s suggestion so tried that – it worked for me, no crashes after 2 hours of using Outlook!!! So as soon as you open outlook if your in sent, change to In and visa versa – all good so far. Tried the Shift method a number of times and that didn’t work, couldn’t locate where to change resolution, seems some of us don’t have the available. The issue in question is related to Microsoft’s email application, Outlook 2011 for Mac. In case you weren’t aware, the Cupertino company released the latest version of its Mac OS X El Capitan update to its devices, recently.
